The Research Sub-committee (RSC) works to ensure that the TSANZ research program is multidisciplinary and encompasses research from bench to bedside and beyond, and is recognised as world class and ambitious in its quest to prevent disease, cure and provide relief from respiratory illness to patients.

The RSC oversees the TSANZ research program, facilitating effective collaborations with our partners and stakeholders to grow respiratory research and advising the TSANZ Board on matters relating to respiratory research, as required.

TSANZ is seeking members to join the RSC, particularly members from New Zealand and members with backgrounds in nursing. Members with any research expertise are encouraged to apply and will be supported in their new role.

The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) is seeking Expressions of Interest from members wishing to join the Working Party developing the Palliative Care Approaches for Advanced Non-Malignant Lung Disease Clinical Practice Guideline.

• Methodologists with expertise in systematic reviews and guideline methodology who are interested in supporting the development of TSANZ Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to co-lead guideline review questions alongside experienced Working Party members.
